New software feature introduced in late 2019 now allows you to measure interior spaces within 3D virtual tours (on tours with the feature enabled).
Try it on this tour here:
Step One
Start by clicking the measure icon down the bottom of the tour to enable the ‘measurement’ mode. If this icon is not present the measurement feature may not be enabled.
Step Two
Click the ‘+’ button located bottom centre to start a measurement. Click once to start measuring a line, click again to stop measuring.
Press ‘enter’ on your keyboard or click on the tick box (bottom centre) to complete that measurement and finish the line.
Alternatively continue clicking to add additional measured lines along the same path.
Step Three.
Exit measurement mode once you have finished measuring. To exit, click on the ‘x’ icon up the top right or press the ‘Esc’ key. Note, the measurement view is darker, more grey and lower photo quality than the normal virtual tour navigation mode.
Delete a Line
To delete a measured line. Click on the line, then click on the rubbish bin icon.
Change Settings & Units
To change units and other settings, click on tool icon up the top right.
