I pointed out yet again that the marketer should... be a member of the NZ Marketing Association and gain access to the Do Not Call list maintained by that organisation. This information was not on the telemarketer's script and I got nowhere. Very pushy, very script-driven, extremely unsatisfactory.read more

I was cold-called by a very aggressive marketer who would not let me ask questions and who wanted me to agree to things... such as "the best time to call again" before I'd made any decisions about the product.

I asked whether the marketer was a member of the NZ Marketing association and I was twice told he was (I am on the Marketing Association's "Do not call" list). When I was about to explain, politely, that perhaps he should not be calling me, I was abruptly cut off.

Very pushy, very script-driven, very unsatisfactory. There are plenty of other people in Auckland providing the same service.read more
